Hey there! I’m Alex, the founder and owner of Bugaboo Speech. I’m an ASHA-certified (#14064859) and California licensed (#23805) speech language pathologist with over a decade of experience working with kids. I’m a specialist in early intervention and neurodivergence.

Early intervention helps kids build a strong foundational skills so they can progress alongside their peers. I’ve worked with many children who grew from very limited ability to express themselves to fluently sharing their voices.

I am also passionate about providing affirming care for neurodiversity, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Stuttering. I have years of experience supporting every stage of gestalt language processors in making efficient and notable progress.

My sense of humor and creativity keep each session fun and engaging while delivering effective treatment. I bring the same positive energy to my sessions that you see in my videos.

I live in San Diego with my husband, Nick and pet cat, Lyra. When I’m not in session, you might find me swimming, hiking and playing and designing board games.
